Photographs by Rick Stratman |
|
|
Photographer Rick Stratman was born in Ohio and has lived in Michigan for nearly twenty-five years. He has been photographing travel and nature subjects for thirty years. His photographs reflect the diversity of his subjects, from the sandhill cranes standing in a Michigan lake in the early morning fog, to the solemn Easter procession in Guatemala during Holy Week, to the intricate patterns of a paper Japanese umbrella in a Kyoto tea garden. The objective of his photography is to share the beauty of the natural world and the diversity of cultures with the viewer; and to convey a sense of place and the excitement that he experienced at the time the image was created. Rick relies upon Canon 35mm cameras and lens, and Fuji film. You can contact Rick at rwstratman@comcast.net. |
