Haleaka Volcano Crater, Maui, Hawaii. On vacation, my wife and I got up early one
morning and traveled to the top of Haleaka, 10,000 ft above sea level.  I took this photo while leaning into the cold wind (very cold, freezing, and of course I had on shorts and a golf shirt) at the top. There was nothing to steady myself on.  Some small Japanese tourists were blown over by the wind. The  area was surreal, like a science fiction movie.
